Software that performs tasks typically needing human intelligence, like recognizing images, understanding language, or making predictions.
AI is an umbrella term for a family of technologies that learn from data or follow complex rules to perform tasks like classification, prediction, recommendation, generation, and decision-making. Modern AI often uses machine learning and, increasingly, large models trained on very large datasets.
